The cosy cottage Palha was recently rehabilitated as an open space studio with a living area with bedroom, a kitchenette and a private bathroom facility. You can access the house by a large glass sliding door which transforms the interior space in a truly welcoming area with unbelievable panoramic views over the sea and ocean. The large entrance also gives access to a lovely balcony, that rises above a verdant private garden, contributes to set this romantic place.

The garden has barbecue facilities and has access to a common swimming pool level. This area is, in fact, a nice place to rest when the sun goes down over the horizon. Although it has been renovated, you will feel inside a traditional Madeiran cottage with rural setting, since some original stone walls and furniture were maintained in its original form.

This cottage is integrated in a rural property with 7 more typical self-catering cottages in Arco da Calheta.
